This weeks question from the Book Blogger Hop at
crazy-for-books.com is:
“How/Where do you get your books? Do you buy them or go to the library? Is there a certain website you use like paperbackswap?“
I have two main sources for my books. I buy them second hand from local second hand book shops and I borrow them from friends, mainly through our
book club.
Every now and then I'll also borrow from the library (these are mainly non-fiction books that are harder to find at second hand stores) or I buy them new if there is a good deal happening. Books here in New Zealand are notoriously expensive so if I really want a book I mainly buy online from overseas or from book sale events.
Most of the books in my collection at the moment have actually come from London. I was living there for a couple of years and stocked up on lots of books from second hand shops. I then shipped them all home as this was cheaper than buying them here in New Zealand (even second hand!). As I read them I will slowly trade them or sell them for new books as I like to keep an
ever evolving collection.
