It's Monday. What are you Reading? is weekly meme where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
Last week I read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and you can read my review here.
And this week I will be reading a book I borrowed off a friend from book club awhile back; 20 Fragments of a Ravenous Youth By Xiaolu Guo. And then if I get through that quick enough I hope to start the other book I borrowed called Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. Then i will need to find my next book for my 100 book challenge! The last book happened to be on my bookshelf so lets hope that I find another one.
I really enjoyed 3 Cups of Tea, I hoe you do as well. Have a wonderful week.

I look forward to hearing what you think of Three Cups of Tea, especially with all the current controversy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books. I can't wait to get these books reviewed. It was one of the best weeks of reading I've had in a long time. Please come see what I read.
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about Three Cups of Tea. Have almost picked it up at book shops a few times myself.
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to read The Alchemist for years. I've heard it is excellent. I was going to read Three Cups of Tea but after the controversy changed my mind. I do plan to read Little Princes by Conor Grennan someday.
ReplyDeleteI ended up getting bored with 3 cups of Tea, it was long and too detailed which made me suspicious.
ReplyDelete20 Fragments looks intriguing...hope you enjoy your reading. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteGood looking books. I enjoyed Three Cups Of Tea and have yet to read The Alchemist.
ReplyDeleteI found Three Cups of Tea inspiring but was a little disillusioned when the controversy erupted about the mistruths in the novel. I am interested in hearing what you think about it.
